What to Expect
Overview of First Visit
On your first visit the Doctor will examine you to help find what the source of your problem or symptoms may be. If you have any recent XRay, CT, or MRI reports, it may be helpful to bring these with you.
We have an XRay machine on site if taking XRays is necessary, and our studies are very affordable. Our Doctors read their own XRays but an outside Radiologist is available if the Doctors request a second opinion.
After your exam the Doctor will talk with you about how to best treat your condition. You and your Doctor together will determine an individualized treatment plan for relief of your symptoms. Typically you will be treated on your first visit, however, in some cases treatment will not start until the second visit.
Phase 1: Relief Care
The goal of relief, or acute, care is to control your symptoms, reduce your pain, and start the healing process. Typically these visits are more than once per week which is necessary to reduce muscle spasm and pain.
Phase 2: Corrective/Restorative Care
In this phase the goal is to fix the problem that started your symptoms, promote healing, and further correct and align your structure to prevent regression to acute care. Visits are less frequent now, typically only once per week and transitioning into once every other week.
Phase 3: Wellness Care
Wellness care is meant for the person who is interested in staying fit, preventing arthritis, and maintaining their physical abilities throughout life. These visits range anywhere from once per month to once every six months, based on your age and individual goals.
You can read more about each stage of care in the pages provided here.

Your Doctor will tailor your individual treatment and treatment plan based on your own needs and goals. It is important that you communicate to your Doctor what you wish to achieve with your health.
